About Us

We encourage our members to join a committee. Most committees meet once a month for an hour. Not only will you be contributing to your community, but you'll be meeting other Chamber members who can refer your business!

GenNext: A Young Professionals Network

Our vision:
To enhance our region by cultivating business relationships, developing leadership roles, and ultimately retaining young professionals for the economic growth in the Hagerstown-Washington County area.

Our mission:
To attract, engage and retain young professionals in the Hagerstown-Washington County area.

We hope to achieve this mission through a combination of seminars, luncheons, and social events specifically structured to help young professionals advance in their communication, networking, and leadership skills, in addition to becoming advocates in the community involvement in the Hagerstown-Washington County region.

While GenNext  is specifically geared towards a professional demographic of under 40 years of age, we plan to keep this group open-ended in the sense that professionals of all ages can participate as we hope to demonstrate the worth of a "young professional' across the board.

GenNext is also open to non-Chamber members.
