We encourage our members to join a committee. Most committees meet once a month for an hour. Not only will you be contributing to your community, but you'll be meeting other Chamber members who can refer your business!
Ambassador
Activities Include:
- Mentoring new members
- Greeting guests at events
- Helping members connect
- Helping members learn what the chamber can do for them

Business and Education Partnership
The committee works with business and educators to improve educational opportunities in Washington County.

- Teacher of the Year

Government Affairs
The committee maintains the Chamber’s relationship with government officials and decides Chamber positions on questions of public policy.
Activities Include:
- Hosting government forums
- Hosting candidate forums
- Lobbying
- Deciding positions on current legislation
- Communicating with elected and appointed leaders

Membership
Actively recruits new members from business, non-profit, and educational sectors by promoting membership benefits and orienting potential new members towards active participation.
- Help with periodic Membership campaigns
- Help new business owners explore the many benefits offered by the Chamber
- Assist with the retention of current members
